Al Martin Presents at Spring Meeting of ABA Tax Section

Lathrop Gage attorney Al Martin (Health Care, Corporate & General Business - Overland Park) will deliver three presentations at the Spring Meeting for the ABA Tax Section on May 7 in Washington, D.C. "409A Compliance - Choice Of Entity & Other Considerations," "Choice Of Entity – A Fresh Look Tax & Non-Tax Considerations," and "Choice Of Entity – Tax Impact On Fringe Benefit Plans" will all take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the nation's capital.

The spring meeting will allow ABA Tax members to convene as a group, take part in advanced CLE programs, and meet with government guests. It is one of the premier events that the Tax Section stages each year.

Mr. Martin is a recognized national authority in the fields of business law, taxation, health care, and retirement plans. He serves as general counsel for over 300 privately owned businesses. Mr. Martin has represented numerous purchasers and sellers of businesses in negotiating, structuring and closing numerous transactions, including management investors involved in taking companies private; the sale of stock, assets, mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and split-ups and; multiple joint ventures, creation and representation of ambulatory surgery centers, specialty hospitals, and other health care entities.
