Lathrop GPM Partner James Lamm Elected to American College of Trust and Estate Counsel Executive Committee

MINNEAPOLIS (March 12, 2024) — Lathrop GPM LLP is pleased to announce that James D. Lamm, a partner in the firm's Minneapolis office, has been elected to the Executive Committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) as a Member at Large effective March 10, 2024.

Lamm is a third-generation Minnesota estate planning attorney, and his practice focuses on estate planning, tax planning, family business succession planning, probate and trust administration, and charitable giving. He was elected as an ACTEC Fellow in 2009 and has served on ACTEC's Board of Regents since 2021. Lamm's previous roles with ACTEC include Chair of its Technology in the Practice Committee and Chair of its Digital Property Committee, and Co-Chair of its Artificial Intelligence Task Force.

"I've been fortunate enough to be actively involved with ACTEC for 15 years, and it's an honor to join the Executive Committee," Lamm said. "I look forward to collaborating with the staff and leadership team and deepening my contributions to ACTEC's mission to continually improve the practice of trusts and estates law."
