Thomas J. McMahon

Mr. McMahon leads the Firm’s Tax Department and has an active business and healthcare practice. He has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex mergers and acquisitions, real estate and securities transactions and in rendering related tax advice. Mr. McMahon is also active in the areas of state and local taxation and has litigated a number of significant cases before administrative and judicial bodies. He works regularly with a number of healthcare clients. Mr. McMahon advises the Firm’s Litigation Group with respect to tax considerations in the prosecution and settlement of lawsuits and arbitration proceedings. He also consults with accountants and lawyers outside the Firm regarding tax issues.
