Mr. Moloney counsels clients in a variety of complex general litigation matters, including intellectual property matters, contractual disputes, product liability defense, securities and employment. He has successfully represented clients in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, New York, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
Among his accomplishments:
- In a state court of appeals, successfully argued a high-stakes case on behalf
of a major gaming interest, securing its rights to a multimillion-dollar
development site. - Negotiated a substantial settlement for an international entertainment
company regarding faulty point-of-sales software installed throughout the
organization. The settlement funded replacement software with another
vendor. - Won a substantial arbitration award for a financial services client in a
breach of contract matter. - Obtained a defense verdict for an insurance company in a multimillion-dollar fraud and breach of contract suit.
- Advised clients in the service and insurance industries and litigated matters involving covenants not to compete and protection of trade secrets.
- Achieved a favorable settlement for an insurance receiver in a major breach of contract action.
- Represented a group of franchisees in a conflict with a franchisor about the
value of their enterprises. Recovered a favorable valuation of 16 individual
franchises.
