Brett J. Coppage Joins Lathrop Gage as Associate

Kansas City, Mo. (October 13, 2008) – Joel Voran, CEO of Lathrop Gage L.C. announced today that Brett J. Coppage has joined the Kansas City office as an associate in the business litigation group.

Prior to joining the firm, Coppage served as law clerk to the Honorable Jay A. Daugherty, 16th Circuit of Missouri from 2007 to 2008. His prior experience also includes working as an intern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Agricultural Division.

Coppage received his undergraduate degree from Truman State University in 2004 and his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2007 with an emphasis in Urban, Land Use and Environmental Law. While in law school, Coppage was the Articles Editor and Board Member of Urban Lawyer and staff member of UMKC Law Review. He is a member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.
