Lathrop Gage Welcomes Court Landon as CFO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (May 31, 2016) – Lathrop Gage today announced the hiring of Courtney (Court) M. Landon as its new Chief Financial Officer. Landon joins the firm with nearly 20 years of experience in finance, accounting and law.

As CFO, Landon will develop Lathrop Gage’s financial and accounting strategy, overseeing functions that include budgeting, cash forecasting, pricing, and growth objectives through lateral hiring and merger opportunities, and managing key banking and vendor relationships. Landon will be based in Lathrop Gage’s Chicago office.

Formerly with Quarles & Brady, Landon served as the Practice Group Operating Officer for its transactional department and led a multi-functional team assigned to support all strategic initiatives for six of its largest national practice groups.

Previously, Landon was the Director of Finance at a predecessor firm of Edwards Wildman, an American Lawyer 100 firm and also previously worked at Accenture, a management consulting services company. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and earned his juris doctor from Chicago Kent College of Law.
