Greer Lang Obtains Litigation Trailblazer Award from National Law Journal
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 8, 2015) – Lathrop Gage Partner Greer S. Lang today was named one of the National Law Journal’s 2015 Litigation Trailblazers.
“Litigation Trailblazers of 2015” recognizes legal professionals who have been successful in litigation in defense cases, unique court cases, technological innovation, strategy, billing or other significant improvements in the legal industry.
The publication notes Lang’s love of litigation as a way “to learn just about anything about any topic I’d ever like to know.” Highlighted is her role as lead litigation counsel in Hawkins v. Community Bank of Raymore, which is an Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) anti-discrimination case that was argued before the United States Supreme Court on October 5, 2015.
Lang represents clients in a variety of litigated and non-litigated complex commercial and business-related disputes, as well as loan enforcement actions, construction matters, insurance disputes, regulatory matters, business torts and professional liability matters, in state and federal court, both at the trial court and appellate level.
