Eric Sidler Joins Lathrop Gage’s Intellectual Property Practice

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 23, 2015) – Lathrop Gage announced that Eric D. Sidler joined the Kansas City office as an Associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group.

Sidler has litigated on behalf of corporate clients in federal and state courts and before arbitrators in a variety of business and commercial disputes, including copyright infringement and various other federal statutory-based disputes. He also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Lynn J. Bush of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

Sidler joins Lathrop Gage from Shipman & Goodwin LLP’s Washington, D.C. office. Previously, he served as a litigation associate with Winthrop & Weinstine, P.A.

Sidler obtained his juris doctor with high honors, Order of the Coif, from The George Washington University Law School, where he served as Executive Managing Editor of The George Washington International Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He is admitted to practice law in Minnesota, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
