Karen M. Rippelmeyer
Karen Rippelmeyer focuses her practice on real estate and tax credit financing. Ms. Rippelmeyer works with equity investors, developers, lenders and tax credit allocatees in a variety of real estate matters involving federal, state and local tax credits and incentives including new markets tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and low-income housing tax credits. She also advises clients on various real estate issues regarding the acquisition, development, and financing of commercial, senior, and multi-family residential property.
Prior to practicing law, Karen was with Ernst & Young US, where she gained corporate and partnership taxation experience at the federal and state level. She primarily focused on compliance and financial reporting for both public and private entities, as well as drafting opinions on complex federal and state tax issues in a variety of tax areas.
