Jonathan Groves

Jonathan is an associate with the firm's energy practice group, working on preparing and acquiring drilling and division order title opinions. He is an experienced negotiator in the exchange and completion of complex leases, purchase and sale agreements, and exchange agreements.

Prior to working at Lathrop Gage, Jonathan worked as a landmanfor several large exploration and production companies, where he managed field landmen in curing title, leasing, exchanging acreage with other exploration and production companies, and running title ahead of multi-rig horizontal drilling programs in the Permian Basin of West Texas.
