Curtis A. Vock

Mr. Vock joined Lathrop Gage in 2000 and is the partner in charge of the Boulder office. His practice involves IP strategy, intellectual property prosecution and litigation, licensing and corporate counseling. His clients range from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies and universities. Curtis manages a patent prosecution team that files over 650 original applications per year in technology areas such as: wearable and activity devices; conferencing and presence technologies; state-of-the-art imaging camera for phones and medical/surgical systems; Internet of Things (IoT) devices; artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and neural networks; infrared detection; hyperspectral sensors; power controllers; deep sea drilling and platforms; consumer electronics; quantum computing and annealing; navigation and inertial measurement; real-time sport media delivery and measurement systems; orthopedic and spinal devices; aerospace and aircraft technologies; large roller-bearing transport platforms; earth observing platforms; applications/software; flywheels; music mixing and delivery systems; industrial and medical ultrasonic/megasonic detection and treatment systems; optical test; sensing and illumination systems; plasma generators and product surface coatings; computer intrusion, security and blockchain delivery software and platforms; drones, satellites and physical security platforms; web and purchase technologies; modern integrated circuits and electron microscope semiconductor verification systems; use and training of big data in medicine and other fields. Curtis also spent ten years as a design and systems engineer within industry (BAE Systems, Lockheed-Martin IR Imaging Systems, Loral Infrared & Imaging Systems, Honeywell Electro-Optics division and Hughes Aircraft Electro-Optics and Data Systems Group).
