Tedrick A. Housh, III

Experience
Mr. Housh has an extensive employment litigation practice. He has handled numerous matters involving age, gender, disability and race discrimination, the Family Medical Leave Act and Pregnancy Discrimination Act, as well as employment disputes before a variety of agencies and arbitrators. He has litigated covenants not to compete and dealt with employee benefits disputes and other workplace issues. He has both bench- and jury-trial experience in state and federal courts and has argued appeals before the Kansas Supreme Court, the Missouri Court of Appeals and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Housh counsels business clients on human resources issues and employment matters. He has participated in the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, as well as the ensuing construction and application of such agreements. He assists clients in the drafting of employee handbooks, social networking policies, and related matters. He has engaged in the management of internal investigations of allegations of discrimination and hostile work environments and advised on myriad other work-related issues. He also has experience in a wide array of commercial litigation matters. He is a frequent presenter on employment law topics at continuing legal education seminars and to the public at large.
