Dr. Marshall is a registered Patent Agent who specializes in the preparation and prosecution of chemical and biochemical patents.  She has extensive experience working in the pharmaceutical arts, agricultural arts, genetics, chemistry, botany, physics, catalysis, materials, magnetism, scientific instrumentation, and medical and surgical devices.  Dr. Marshall's experience includes drafting patents related to protein isolation and purification, gene function determination, mutant production and comparison to wild type organisms, preparation of antibodies, uses of proteins and/or antibodies in a therapeutic manner, and preparation and use of assays. Dr. Marshall also has experience analyzing existing patent portfolios, pursuing broadened patent coverage through the reissue process, and defending against third-party reexamination requests.
