Lambrechts
Experience
Mr. Lambrechts practices both intellectual property and environmental law ( click here for his environmental bio). Mr. Lambrechts has substantial experience in preparing patent applications for medical devices, safety equipment, machine tools and automation equipment. In addition, he advises clients on trademarks including their prosecution, opposition, policing and enforcement. He also provides clients with legal opinions on infringement issues and patent validity and assists clients with licensing of intellectual property and protecting trademarks and copyrights. Mr. Lambrechts is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
From 1983 to 1987, Mr. Lambrechts served as a senior automation engineer with the Allied Signal Corporation in Kansas City, Missouri.
From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Lambrechts served with the U.S. EPA in the Regional 7 office as a special assistant to the Regional Administrator.
Mr. Lambrechts also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he has taught courses for both the law school and engineering school since 1993. Mr. Lambrechts continues to serve with the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce where he previously chaired the Chamber's Environment Committee. Mr. Lambrechts' avocation is his service to the United States Navy Reserve as the Campus Liaison Officer for UMKC.
