Pro Bono
Lathrop & Gage proudly considers indigent and pro bono representation a professional responsibility and a community obligation of the firm. Our attorneys donate their time in various practice areas. For example, we provide around 2000 pro bono hours per year through Court appointment in the areas of domestic and juvenile law. Our representation also includes legal work for the Salvation Army as well as local domestic violence shelters and child welfare agencies. Our attorneys enthusiastically serve as volunteers in numerous organizations including the LEAP Foundation (Lawyers Encouraging Academic Performance), which provides invaluable mentoring and tutoring programs for disadvantaged children.
