Ben Weinberger Speaks at Disaster Recovery Conference
Lathrop & Gage CIO Ben Weinberger (Kansas City) will be a guest speaker at Disaster Recovery Journal's Fall World 2008, taking place in San Diego, September 14 - 17. During his presentation, he will share his experience with Riverbed Technology's wide-area data services (WDS), in efforts to lead a consolidation and centralization effort he completed while at a previous firm.
As part of this effort, Mr. Weinberger moved all application servers to a central data center and eliminated them from the previous firm's remote offices. His presentation, "New Strategies for Remote Backup, Replication, and Disaster Recovery," will provide insight on how he led a team that improved and streamlined the firm's backup and replication processes to protect them from natural disasters.
