David Lee Publishes IP Article for Trial Talk Magazine
Lathrop & Gage attorney David Lee (Intellectual Property - Boulder) is a featured author in the June/July 2009 issue of Trial Talk magazine, with "Patent Power," a look at IP issues and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
"Over the last 30 years, patents have become a power to be reckoned with in American business," writes Mr. Lee. "Patent litigation before juries has become the competitive weapon of choice for many domestic industries - and also for a number of foreign industries in a trend that has grown dramatically over the past 10 years."
Mr. Lee specializes in the enforcement of intellectual property rights and the transfer of technology. Some of his more notable cases include In re Fiers, a leading biotechnology case; the microprocessor battle between Cyrix and Intel; and the series of agricultural disputes over the Enola bean patents. He also has accumulated extensive experience in reissue, reexamination and interference proceedings in the United States Patent Office.
Trial Talk features articles and editorials on current legal topics and innovative trial techniques, and is published by the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association. The magazine focuses on practical solutions to courtroom and common trial attorney problems, and is distributed throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
