Joseph Fridkin Appointed to Kansas Medical Center Neuroscience Advisory Board

Lathrop & Gage attorney Joseph Fridkin (Business Litigation - Kansas City) has been appointed to The Neuroscience Advisors, a council of the University of Kansas Medical Center’s Advancement Board. The board provides regional volunteer leadership and supports major gift fundraising for the Institute for Neurological Disorders and other neurosciences interests of the medical center and the University of Kansas Hospital.

The KU Medical Center is renowned for its work in the neurosciences, including the fields of Brain Injury and Repair, Neuromuscular and Movement Disorders, (Parkinson’s disease, ALS, Huntington’s disease, etc.) Neurodegenerative Disorders (Alzheimer’s disease and others), Hearing and Equilibrium Disorders, Women’s Pain Disorders, and Cognitive and Behavioral Health. Mr. Fridkin and other board members facilitate securing the financial resources necessary to advance our neuroscience initiatives by identifying and assisting in the cultivation and solicitation of prospective donors, acting as a resource and advisor for current donors, and offering constructive comments and support to help the center fulfill its mission.

Mr. Fridkin's legal practice provides counsel to clients regarding business and construction litigation, land use, municipal finance and condemnation issues.
