KCMBA Names Jack Craft a Baron of the Boardroom

The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association has named Lathrop Gage attorney Jack Craft (Government Relations - Kansas City) a "Baron of the Boardroom" for 2010. The annual award recognizes a distinguished career representing corporate and business clients. This year's recipients will be recognized at the KCMBA's annual awards diner on Friday, May 21 during the Bench-Bar & Boardroom Conference in Kansas City.

Mr. Craft is frequently selected among The Best Lawyers in America, and in 2001 he was named among the 175 most influential people in the history of Jackson County, Mo., by the Jackson County Historical Society. He is joined by Thomas Van Dyke, currently a partner at Bryan Cave LLP, as this year's two "Barons of the Boardroom" award recipients.

"Craft has participated in several innovative approaches to civic matters in Kansas City," the KC Counselor profile stated. "He is a member of the Local Investment Commission and was Co-Chairman of the FOCUS Kansas City Governance Work Team. In 1996, he was Chairman of the Missouri Task Force for the Bistate Initiative and the Missouri Chairman and Treasurer of Yes On Union Station."
