Bob McKinley Presents at ABA Section of Dispute Resolution Spring Conference in San Francisco
Lathrop & Gage attorney Robert McKinley (Labor & Employment - Kansas City) will be a featured speaker at the American Bar Association's Annual Spring Conference for the Dispute Resolution Section, April 8 in San Francisco. Mr. McKinley, the chair of the firm's Labor & Employment Law practice group, will present on outside counsel's perspective on employment arbitration.
Mr. McKinley is a long-time member of the Labor & Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association, and is frequently invited to speak at national, regional and local CLE programs and client seminars. He has successfully defended many complex cases involving fraud, securities law and breach of professional and fiduciary duties under both federal and state law.
A Fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law, Mr. McKinley has defended employers and insurers in a wide variety of individual and class action employment matters. In his career, these have included agent and manager terminations, wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, covenants not to compete, drug testing, benefit cases, practice before the EEOC, NLRB, Department of Labor and State Human Rights Agencies, collective bargaining and preventive law. He has litigated in both Federal and State courts throughout the United States.
