Lathrop Gage Welcomes Two Attorneys in Kansas City


KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 20, 2014) – Lathrop Gage LLP announced today that Sean T. Foley has joined as an associate in the firm’s toxic and mass tort practice and Devon J. Steinmeyer has joined as an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. 

Sean Foley focuses his practice on personal injury, premises liability, product liability and tortious interference litigation. Foley joins Lathrop Gage after completing a two-year clerkship with the Honorable Roberto A. Lange of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota. During his education at the University of Kansas School of Law, Foley served as a legal intern for the Hon. Robert M. Schieber at the 16th Circuit Court in Jackson County, Missouri and as a summer law clerk with Lathrop Gage. He received a bachelor’s degree from Truman State University. 

Devon Steinmeyer, a 2013 summer clerk at Lathrop Gage, focuses his practice on general corporate and business transactions, mergers and acquisitions and formation and structuring of business entities and relationships. Prior to getting his juris doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Steinmeyer worked for Deloitte Consulting LLP in its Technology and Business Transformation practice. He received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
