Al Martin Presents at ABA Tax Section Midyear Meeting in Nevada

Member Alson R. Martin (Overland Park - Corporate & General Business) delivered two presentations at the American Bar Association Tax Section's annual Midyear Meeting, in Las Vegas this month.

"Entity Selection for the Closely Held Business" and "Buy-Sell Agreements for All Triggering Events - The Do's and Don'ts" included timely advice and developments in the field for practitioners to be aware of. Each lecture incorporated analysis of updates to the law that would have gone into effect January 1, 2008.

Mr. Martin is a national authority in the fields of business law, taxation, health care, and retirement plans. He has served as general counsel for over 300 privately owned businesses, and is a frequent lecturer on corporate law topics at national conferences and symposia.
