Does your company's property policy cover losses where both covered and non-covered perils combine to cause acatastrophic loss? Is there coverage where acatastrophic loss causes the government to shut down your company's operations and requires repairs and upgrades?

Lathrop &Gage attorney Tom Leland will discuss the pitfalls for policyholders where "covered perils" combine with"excluded perils" to cause catastrophic losses to insured property, including how certain insurance policy provisions might negate coverage where an excluded peril has contributed to an otherwise covered loss. In addition, Mr. Leland will discuss conflicting rulings from courts across the country which address whether additional property damage and time-element losses caused by enforcement of government laws and regulations are covered under standard "Demolition and Increased Cost of Construction" endorsements found in many companies' property policies.

Registration begins at 11 :30 a.m. and lunch will be provided. If needed, parking is available at the hotel.

One hour of CLE is pending in Colorado.
