The U.S. Senate Commerce Committee approved the Pipeline Transportation Safety Improvement Act of 2011. The bill was introduced in February by Senators Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., and Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J. Rockefeller serves as the chair of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee and Lautenberg is a senior member of that committee. Read more ...
