Experience
Ms. Roush has more than 25 years of experience in the practice of law and concentrates her practice in the areas of business planning and estate planning. Her business planning emphasis is privately-owned professional firms and businesses.
Ms. Roush has a wealth of experience in advising business clients on issues relating to governance, succession planning, managing ownership, buy-sell agreements, noncompete and confidentiality agreements, protection and defense strategies for business entities and solutions for multi-company organizations. She also advises her business clients regarding state issues such as licensing, qualification and income tax.
Ms. Roush advises her individual clients regarding estate tax savings and protecting assets, and she prepares wills, trusts, powers of attorney, family limited partnerships, family foundations and other estate planning documents.
Ms. Roush has participated extensively as organizer and speaker at numerous seminars and has written articles for state and national publications. She has also been involved in many legislative activities, including revision of the Kansas Limited Liability Company Act and the Kansas Estate Tax Act.
Ms. Roush served as law clerk to The Honorable James K. Logan, U.S. Circuit Judge for the Tenth Circuit (1979-1980).
