Meghan S. Largent Joins Lathrop & Gage as an Associate

St. Louis, Mo.  (November 29, 2007) – Joel Voran, CEO of Lathrop & Gage L.C. announced today that Meghan Largent has joined the St. Louis, Mo. office as an associate in the business disputes and tort litigation practice areas.

Largent served as law clerk to Justice Sue Myerscough, researching and assisting in drafting orders for cases on appeal before the Fourth District Appellate Court of Illinois.  Largent worked as a legal intern at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington D.C.  In 2004, she represented indigent clients in St. Louis City as a student attorney in Washington University’s Civil Justice Clinic.

Largent received her undergraduate degree from University of Missouri – Columbia, School of Journalism, in 2001 and her juris doctorate from the Washington University School of Law in 2005.  She participated on the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Board, was named to the Dean’s List and received the Dale Spencer Journalism Award in 2001.  Largent is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association.
