St. Louis, Mo. (June 8, 2007) -- M. Jane Schweitzer has joined the St. Louis, Mo. office of the Lathrop & Lage L.C. law firm as of counsel in the tort litigation practice area.

Schweitzer brings 28 years of litigation experience to the firm having most recently been associated with Donald L. Schlapprizzi, P.C. Prior to her work with Schlapprizzi, she was a partner at Moser, Marsalek, Carpenter, Cleary, Jaeckel, and Keaney. At Lathrop & Gage, she will continue to focus her practice on medical malpractice, products liability and general liability.

Schweitzer is a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bar, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys and the Women Lawyer's Association.
