Mark A. Webster
Mr. Webster is an associate in the real estate department. His duties include preparation of real estate documents such as leases, sales agreements and easements, handling title matters, drafting loan documents such as notes and collateral documents and advising clients on real estate and loan transactions.
Mr. Webster also represents clients with respect to the formation, operation, and management of business entities, the negotiation and management of contractual relationships, and the completion of asset and stock transfers, mergers, dissolutions, and other fundamental business transactions.
Mr. Webster’s representative experience in these areas includes the following:
- Drafted documents and assisted in closing a multi-million dollar sale and transfer of real property, commercial buildings, and personal property.
- Assisted in closing the sale of corporate assets valued at $7 million, including drafting and reviewing agreements and transfer documents.
- Assisted in sale of corporate stock and company ownership interests, including drafting definitive documents and facilitating closing.
- Handled numerous collections, foreclosure, and landlord-tenant issues, regularly appearing in court to litigate clients’ interests.
- Drafted organizational documents for a number of Homeowners Associations and provided counsel to Associations on compliance with state law.
- Drafted Interlocal Agreements to facilitate cooperation between area municipalities on improvement projects.
