Martie Ross

Experience
Ms. Ross devotes her practice to advising hospitals, physicians, and other health care providers on a wide range of issues including Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, licensure and accreditation, medical staff relations, risk management, contracting, and business planning.  She is recognized as a leading authority on the HIPAA privacy and security rules and other health information regulations, having written and lectured extensively on these subjects.  Ms. Ross has successfully represented numerous providers in the course of government investigations involving allegations of health care fraud and abuse and EMTALA violations, and has assisted clients in developing, implementing, and refining compliance programs.  Ms. Ross frequently conducts internal investigations and advises clients concerning remedial and proactive measures to address health care compliance issues.

Ms. Ross served as law clerk to the Honorable Deanell Reece Tacha, U.S. Court of Appeals, Tenth Circuit from 1990 to 1991.
