Mr. Ferguson focuses on employment litigation and counsels employers and educational institutions on day-to-day employment issues including evaluations, discipline, hiring, firing and non-compete agreements. He has conducted numerous investigations and successfully defended charges of age, sex, race, color, national origin, religion and disability discrimination. Mr. Ferguson has extensive litigation experience defending employers against claims of wrongful termination, ADA, sexual harassment, retaliation and Title VII discrimination. His litigation practice frequently takes him before the EEOC, the Kansas Human Rights Commission, the Missouri Human Rights Commission and he has substantial experience in State and Federal Courts, as well as all forms of alternative dispute resolution.
