Lee E. Poppen
Mr. Poppen has maintained a broad trial practice for more than 30 years. Primary areas of focus are construction litigation, probate and trust litigation and family law.
Mr. Poppen represents multiple contractors and construction material suppliers in disputes involving construction contracts and performance by contractors and subcontractors. The protection of payments to contractors, subcontractors and suppliers regularly involves the filing and enforcement of mechanic's liens.
Mr. Poppen’s extensive experience in estate planning has provided a background to handle complex issues concerning the validity of wills and trusts and various aspects of trust administration. He has been retained by several major trust companies to defend allegations of breach of fiduciary duty and negligent handling of trust assets.
