Lisa Farr

Lisa Farr is the director of human resources at Lathrop & Gage LLP. In this role, Ms. Farr is responsible for the development and implementation of human resources policies and managing the performance evaluation process for all firm administrative professionals and staff. She also manages compensation for administrative professionals and staff utilizing market data and hiring intelligence. 

Ms. Farr advises firmwide supervisors regarding effective staff development, conflict resolution, mediation and performance management. She facilitates the human resources aspects of mergers and acquisitions to ensure engagement of new staff to ease their transition into the firm. She is also responsible for ensuring the firm’s compliance with all federal and state legislation regarding employment and employment practices, staff privacy, benefits administration, and wage and salary administration. Additionally, Ms. Farr is responsible for the oversight of staff training and development programs.

Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Ms. Farr served as the director of human resources for several organizations, including Clay County, Missouri; The Bode Technology Group; ChoicePoint, Inc.; and Mid-America Rehabilitation Hospital of Overland Park.
