Kimberly K. Winter
Ms. Winter has worked primarily in the areas of insurance recovery and insolvency and employment law. She has lectured to various professional groups on both insurance and employment law topics.
A significant portion of Ms. Winter’s current practice involves complex insurance coverage disputes. Her focus is on analyzing policy terms, conducting insurance archeology, and negotiating with solvent and insolvent insurance carriers on behalf of policyholders facing long-tail environmental and products liability claims.
Ms. Winter has also represented the Missouri Director of Insurance in his capacity as receiver of certain insolvent insurance companies. In this capacity, her primary responsibilities have been evaluating policyholder claims, including complex environmental and asbestos claims, and negotiating the recovery of reinsurance.
