Kenneth L. Weltz
Mr. Weltz serves as National Asbestos Trial Counsel for the BNSF Railway Company. Having tried over 100 jury trials including medical negligence, Ken has considerable expertise in the areas of asbestos-related litigation including FELA cases, as well as personal injury and insurance defense work related to automobile, truck and train injuries. The focus of his practice has been medical-legal related matters involving complex medical cases including toxic tort exposure and catastrophic injuries. In addition, Ken has experience in complex business litigation cases including fraud.
Mr. Weltz’s prior experience includes former assistant of the United States Attorney for the District of Kansas; former Ellis County Attorney; and an Adjunct Assistant Professor, “Litigation,” Wichita State University.
