Kevin McKenzie focuses his practice on insurance coverage. He has experience representing clients in a variety of complex commercial litigation cases, including insurance coverage, class action, and breach of contract disputes, in federal and state trial and appellate courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McKenzie was an associate at a firm in Chicago where he represented insurers in state and federal courts throughout the United States evaluating claims and resolving disputes in areas including construction defects, manufacturing liability, defamation, computer network intrusion, environmental contamination, and employment-related injuries.
During law school, Mr. McKenzie interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Illinois Attorney General, and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
