Experience
- Mr. Fridkin is a recognized expert in local government and inter-governmental issues.
- He has served both Jackson County as County Counselor for two appointed terms, and Kansas City, Missouri as counsel to the Tax Increment Financing Commission, the Economic Development Corporation, the Kansas City Port Authority and was Chairman of the Land Clearance for Redevelopment Authority.
- During his tenure as County Counselor, he provided leadership in the structuring and financing of the Truman Sports Complex and Truman Medical Center.
- He served as Chairman of the Jackson County Charter Commission, which in 1970 brought home-rule to the county.
- Mr. Fridkin has considerable experience in the area of governmental authority and taxing issues. He also has considerable experience in trying jury cases, mostly as defense counsel and has also conducted appellate practice in Missouri courts.
- He has been counsel to the Missouri Transportation and Development Counsel, the Builders' Association of Kansas City, the Minority Contractors' Association and others.
- Mr. Fridkin has made numerous filings for developers under the Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act. For many years he served as counsel for Prime Health, the first federally qualified HMO in the Midwest.
