Douglas L. Loos
Mr. Loos’ practice has an emphasis on transactions associated with the sale, purchase, development and financing of real estate. His work includes negotiating and closing commercial real estate transactions; providing legal services associated with leasing and management of real estate assets; structuring asset based financings; and negotiating and restructuring mortgage loan workouts.
Prior to joining Lathrop & Gage, Mr. Loos was an attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and was responsible for Federal Housing Administration transactions, including project development, asset management, negotiating and restructuring defaulted loans in preparation of workout agreements.
Mr. Loos was a partner of the law firm for 22 years prior to becoming of counsel with Lathrop & Gage in 2012.
