David J. Lee

Mr. Lee specializes in the enforcement of intellectual property rights and the transfer of technology. He is a transplant from New York City, where he litigated intellectual property and related matters. Mr. Lee was a partner at Fish & Neave in New York from 1977-1995. Prior to that, he was a litigator with Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York.

Some of his more notable cases include In re Fiers, a leading biotechnology case; the microprocessor battle between Cyrix and Intel; and the series of agricultural disputes over the Enola bean patents. He also has accumulated extensive experience in reissue, reexamination and interference proceedings in the United States Patent Office.

Mr. Lee served on the Staff of the University of Chicago Law Review (1970-1971) and then served as Comment Editor on the Managing Board (1971-1972).
