- Successful defense of shareholder derivative litigation and trial
- Lead trial counsel in successful defense of breach of coal supply utility contract lawsuit involving hundreds of millions of dollars in damages
- Successfully represented major landowners in defense against claim by Indian Tribe under ancient treaties to reclaim major portion of modern day Kansas City, Kansas
- National counsel in multidistrict litigation and class actions involving fiber optic right of way litigation
- Successful counsel in multiple arbitrations involving transportation and contract disputes
- Successfully obtained summary judgment for national manufacturer in structural engineering case after storage facility collapse
- Successful defense of putative toxic tort class action
- Obtained defense verdicts in multiple personal injury lawsuits
- Extensive trial experience in wrongful death, negligence and product claims in diverse areas including biomechanics, fireworks, shootings, fires and explosions
- Counsel for major Internet provider in novel copyright and discovery litigation
- Handled seminal Missouri Supreme Court O’Malley case establishing work product opinion protection
- Successful defense of environmental claims and injunction request under NEPA and related laws for major industrial development
- Obtained trial verdict and collected damages in malicious protection claim
