Cynthia M. Teel
Cynthia Teel represents clients in environmental administrative negotiations with federal and state agencies, advising clients on regulatory requirements and assisting with litigation of environmental claims in administrative, state, and federal courts. Her professional experience prior to law school includes conducting public affairs and media relations for the Los Angeles/Ventura Chapter of the Building Industry Association, and providing public relations services to a variety of organizations ranging from public companies to government entities to not-for-profits.
Ms. Teel received her undergraduate degree in public relations and honors political science from the University of Southern California. While at Northwestern University School of law she served as associate editor of the Northwestern University Law Review where she published her student note entitled, Free Exorcise Clause? Whether Exorcism Can Survive the Supreme Court’s “Smith Neutrality,” 104 Nw. U. L. Rev. 363 (2010).
