Cheri Rhodes

Cheri Rhodes is the director of legal recruiting and office services at Lathrop & Gage LLP.  In this role, Ms. Rhodes is responsible for the management, leadership and development of the legal recruiting and office services staff. She provides oversight, research, sourcing, interviewing, assimilation and coordination of law student and lateral attorney recruitment efforts. Ms. Rhodes communicates and coordinates with different practice areas to identify and verify industry-specific recruitment trends to ensure competitive edge is maintained with peer organizations to lawyer and client goals regarding recruitment needs.  Ms. Rhodes is also responsible for lateral attorney due diligence and conflicts requirements prior to hire, as well as budget responsibilities covering recruitment, facilities capital expenses, infrastructure maintenance and enhancement, and project costs. Ms. Rhodes provides support for several groups within the firm, including the Associate Development and Diversity Committees and the Women’s Affinity Group.

In addition to her legal recruiting responsibilities, Ms. Rhodes manages the day-to-day coordination of facilities needs and requirements on a firm-wide basis. She also acts as point of contact for the firm’s mail and copy center.

Ms. Rhodes’ previous experience with Lathrop & Gage includes serving as Marketing and Recruiting Director. She served as a legal assistant with Lathrop & Norquist, L.C. (now Lathrop & Gage LLP).
