General Real Estate

• Represented a Missouri-based nationwide food product manufacturer and retailer in a variety of general real estate matters including negotiation of leases, purchases and sale of real property, negotiation of easement agreements, in connection with its national retail operations.
• Represented Kansas-based developer with the development and leasing of mixed use developments.
• Represented a national theatre chain in a variety of matters including negotiation of purchases of real property, sale/leaseback transactions and divestitures of theatre locations in California, New York, Illinois, Massachusetts, Washington, and Texas, pursuant to Department of Justice requirements.
• Represented Tennessee-based nationwide agricultural services company in numerous real property acquisitions in North Carolina, Texas, California, Mississippi, Arkansas and Virginia.

Sale/Leaseback

• Handled the sale of three pet care and lodging facilities in Colorado and Arizona and entered into leaseback transactions for those facilities.
• Handled sale and leaseback transactions of three bank branches in Kansas.

 Leasing Transactions

• Represented a New York-based global professional services company with the negotiation of complex long term office leases in California and Massachusetts.
• Represented a Kansas-based nationwide pet food manufacturer in a variety of leasing matters.

 1031 Exchange

• Represented a business entity in a 1031 exchange (the client’s sale of an apartment complex and acquisition of two Walgreens locations.)

Financing
