Aaron Bradford

Mr. Bradford is a civil trial attorney with experience as lead counsel in trials involving intellectual property, medical defense and complex torts. Mr. Bradford excels at recreating all three dimensions of every case or story, in a manner that should compel a verdict for the client. Throughout the case, Mr. Bradford works closely with his clients to ensure that the matter is managed in a cost-effective manner, consistent with the client’s legal and business interests. Mr. Bradford has handled hundreds of civil matters to successful conclusion, either by jury verdict, court-ordered dismissal, voluntary dismissal or appropriate settlement, all to the satisfaction of the client.

Mr. Bradford has the great fortune of significant trial and business experience. With a month to prepare and without experts, Mr. Bradford secured a $7 million patent infringement verdict for a local Colorado inventor. On multiple occasions, defense verdicts were obtained for physicians who previously admitted liability. Mr. Bradford tried 15 multi-week jury trials. In addition to his jury trial experience, Mr. Bradford was honored to serve as a manager of a prominent trial firm for three years prior to joining Lathrop & Gage. In 2011, Mr. Bradford was honored by The Denver Business Journal as a “Forty under 40.”

Community service is an important feature of Mr. Bradford’s professional life. He served as the Chair of the Colorado Pledge to Diversity, the Second Vice-President of the Denver Bar Association and the Chair of the Community Action Network. As Chair of Fundraising for the Wheels of Justice Cycling Team, he raised $1 million for The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Bradford also served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence and the Dean’s Diversity Counsel. Mr. Bradford is also regularly asked to serve as faculty for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. He is the 2008 recipient of the Denver Bar Association’s Young Lawyer of the Year.

Mr. Bradford’s experience also includes legal internships with the Denver District Attorney’s Office, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Colorado Public Defender’s Office.
