Amy R. Blunt

Experience
Ms. Blunt provides government affairs counsel and public policy consulting to clients on the local, regional and national levels.  Ms. Blunt's practice includes election law compliance, assisting both candidates for public offices and businesses in complying with the increasingly complex disclosure and filing requirements established by the Federal Election Commission and various state regulatory bodies.  Ms. Blunt also assists the firm's clients in developing strategies to achieve their public policy goals through legislative and administrative advocacy and strategic planning.  Recent clients include companies in the utility, hospitality, medical and telecommunications sectors, as well as not-for-profit organizations.

In addition to her law firm experience, Ms. Blunt served as a senior policy advisor to the successful election effort of Missouri Governor Matt Blunt.  In this capacity, she assisted the Governor's campaign in the development of policy advisory teams and the implementation of a policy development strategy.

Ms. Blunt has also served as in-house counsel at Aquila Energy Marketing, Inc. and Ferrellgas Partners, L.P.  During her tenure with these companies Ms. Blunt developed an extensive knowledge of contracts, commercial law and energy regulation.

Ms. Blunt served as law clerk for the Honorable John C. Crow, Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District in 1997.
